We will be closed last week of September to move from Sautee store to our new building.

Candle Bar Policy

We’re so excited to have you at our Candle Bar! To ensure the best experience for everyone, please review our policy below:

• Reservations: We recommend booking in advance to secure your spot, though walk-ins are welcome when space allows.

• Rescheduling: Life happens — if you need to reschedule, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance and we’ll be happy to move your reservation to a new date.

• No-Shows: If you do not show up for your reservation and haven’t contacted us ahead of time, your deposit will be forfeited. No-shows are non-refundable, but we are happy to reschedule your visit as a one-time courtesy.

Step 1 - Get Prepared!

Step 2 - Pick your smells

The quantity of fragrance oil you add should correlate with the amount of wax you're using. But don't worry, we'll be there to help.

After years of tests, we believe and recommend 6-8% of fragrance oil is typical to use and get the best results.

Step 3 - Mix, heat & Pour

The fun begins! Mix your chosen scents with our luxury soy wax and pour the wax into your jar(s).

Crafty Mountain Candle Co. handcrafts all candles in-store using 100% luxury soy wax, ensuring they're paraffin-free and ideal for those with asthma, undergoing chemotherapy, or sensitive to traditional candles. Additionally, some candles feature intricate hand-painting. Owner Maria Schingeck personally creates each candle, and don't miss out on exploring their latest seasonal offerings in-store.

Step 4 - Allow wax to cool (break time!)

Usually, this step takes about 40 minutes, but there are lots of cool spots to see in Sautee Junction.

Sautee Nacoochee is a beautiful mountain town in the Appalachian foothills of Northeast Georgia. Located only 3.9 miles away from Helen, GA, and under an hour from the city of Dahlonega, GA.
