Youth Candle Makers Day Camp

Time: 9:30 AM – 2:30 PM
Pick-Up: 2:30 – 3:00 PM
Group Size: Limited to 6–8 campers
Join us for a fun and creative Youth Candle Makers Day Camp at Crafty Mountain Candle Co. Each camp day features a different candle-making theme, giving campers the opportunity to learn new techniques and create unique candle projects.
Activities may take 1–1.5 hours, while some candle projects may take 3–5 hours to complete as candles cool and set. During waiting times, campers will participate in additional creative activities, scent challenges, and small projects.
Price is per camper, per day. $100 for early birds. $125 original price to register.
Campers may sign up for one day or multiple days.
All materials are included, and each camper will take home everything they create during the workshop.
Important Camp Information
Registration Policy
All registrations are final. Due to limited space and preparation of materials, no refunds will be issued once a spot is reserved. No refunds will be provided if a camper must be picked up early due to behavior or inability to follow safety instructions.
Behavior Expectations
We want all campers to have a safe and enjoyable experience. Campers are expected to follow instructions and safety guidelines. If a camper becomes disruptive or is unable to follow directions, parents/guardians will be notified and may be asked to pick up their child early.
Food & Allergies
Campers must bring their own lunch. Crafty Mountain Candle Co. will provide snacks and water during the day.
If your child has any allergies, please notify us in advance.
Learning Experience
Our goal is to provide a fun and creative environment where campers can explore candle making while learning about the science and math behind the process. Campers will participate in hands-on activities including:
• Pouring their own warm wax with staff assistance
• Selecting and blending fragrance oils
• Painting and creating wax embeds
• Designing and decorating their candle creations
Because candle making involves warm wax and fragrance oils, parent or guardian permission is required for participation. Please sign papers before dropping off your child.

• Create Cupcake Candles. Each camper will take home 3 cupcakes- the process may take 3-5 hours hours. Each camper will learn how to pipe and how to make a frosting from wax.

Trim Wick: Before lighting, trim the wick to 1/4" to promote a clean and even burn.

Keep Clean: Ensure the candle is free of any foreign materials, including matches and wick trimmings, to maintain a pure flame.

Safe Surface: Place the candle on a level, fire-resistant surface to prevent accidents.

Time Limit: Do not burn the candle for more than 4 hours at a time to maintain its integrity.

Stop at 1/4": Discontinue use when only 1/4" of wax remains in the container.

How long until my package ships?
Our standard production time for completing a candle is 1-3 business days from the order placement date. However, this timeframe may vary based on the specific product you are purchasing. Many candles from our collections are often ready to ship immediately, offering a quick turnaround.
For customized options, such as our contemporary collection with personalized colors and scents, the processing time may be slightly longer.
Rest assured, our commitment is to deliver a candle of the highest quality, fully cured and perfected before shipment.
If there are any instances where your candle may take longer to ship, we prioritize clear communication and will promptly reach out to you. Your satisfaction and receiving a top-notch product are our foremost priorities.
How do I track my order?
Once we ship a candle it will be in the hands of the carrier. We typically use UPS and USPS to ship our products. You will always receive a confirmation email on shipment and may also check the status in your orders under the Account page. If for any reason you are unable to locate your tracking number, please contact us right away.
If you are an international customer outside the USA, USPS cannot provide a tracking update once it leaves the country. We unfortunately cannot provide any additional information other than what the carrier shows on the tracking page.
If placing an order internationally it is best to use an alternate carrier like UPS.
Do you provide shipping insurance?
As a standard practice, we do not include shipping insurance by default. This decision is aimed at maintaining lower overall prices for our customers. If your package indicates it was delivered but you are unable to locate it, we recommend reaching out to the carrier first.
